Endy vs. Casper: The Verdict is in!

It’s been well over 100 days since we had the chance to try out our Endy mattress and our first king-size at that. You guys know we’ve had the other mattress in a box before for a few years – the Casper mattress. I’m not going to lie, but we were happy with our Casper, I mean I really didn’t have anything bad to say about it…Until, we had the chance to try the Endy mattress. We’ve had the opportunity to try them both from unboxing to sleeping on them (one of them for years so don’t take my review too lightly). Plus, when’s the last time you bought a mattress? You want to make sure you’re getting the best bang for buck and one that’ll last you a while!

First, the Endy is Canadian, so let’s just give that a moment right there. With everything that’s going on around the world, we know how much our money goes to support local businesses especially in a time like right now. Even the box the Endy gets delivered in has a little red leaf priding itself as Canadian-made.

I’m sure you guys have noticed how preggos I am (I’m almost 8 months to be exact)! We had the Casper during my first pregnancy, and I was tossing and turning more nights than in my second pregnancy because I really couldn’t get my body to “sink” into how a memory-foam-like mattress should allow me to do so. It’s already wildly uncomfortable towards the end of pregnancy and honestly, the size of our bed plus the fact that the Endy allows for my body to sink into the mattress more really gives me better rest. The Endy claims to be the “perfect firmness” and honestly I couldn’t have said it any better. I have definitely enjoyed sleeping on this mattress in the last few months than I did with our Casper. Let me just tell you, I am very excited to get whatever sleep I can get in with a newborn and toddler around on our Endy!

I’m sure you’ve read and heard of many comparisons online but I’m here to add to the reviews! Overall, there are a lot of similarities between the Casper and Endy mattresses for instance, similar unboxing experience and unboxing tools that come with the mattress for ease of set up, both are foam mattresses and offer a good night’s rest and a warranty of 10 years. For me, the fact that the Endy mattress is Canadian, priced lower ($895 CAD for a queen vs $1295 CAD for a Casper queen), and ONE mattress option are key factors. The game changer for me personally is that the Endy mattress itself feels a bit less firm, and more conforming to the weight of my own body. If I had to do it again, I would definitely be sticking with the Endy mattress. In fact, our toddler is going to be transitioning to a big boy bed soon and we’ll be looking into the Endy twin mattress option for him because he jumps into our bed and hangs out every morning already! Stay tuned!

P.s. If you’re going for the kill, add the Endy pillow to your order. They are unbelievably comfortable, easy to wash and clean, and adjustable for your level of firmness comfort.

*The mattress was gifted but opinions are my own.
