City Life with a Toddler – Bugaboo Ant Review

Okay, for real guys, when did I become a full blown toddler mom. Miles knows what he wants, how to get it and rebels when he doesn’t! Help, the terrible two’s are on are their way! He’s becoming more picky, and opinionated and I can’t blame him because he’s becoming a little human who can start to understand things for himself! There were several months when he hated being in the stroller. All he wanted to do was run, explore and play outdoors so you can imagine that we never roamed the malls, or took a walk in the neighbourhood unless they were short and with purpose. Recently, he has started to enjoy his stroller again! He’s even so fond of them now that he takes a nice midday nap with grandma most days! Trust me, if you don’t have a kiddo, this is glorious especially if you can get some things off your to-do list!

When Bugaboo announced their most lightest and compact stroller yet, Bugaboo Ant, I knew we had to get our hands on one! We’ve become part of the Bugaboo family from the very beginning with the Cameleon, Fox and now the Ant. If you hear parents talk about “umbrella or traveller strollers” there’s a reason they’re looking for one. They’re great for travel because of their compact and super easy use feature but they’re also so good for every day use especially with toddlers. Living in a small space makes storing the stroller after a walk or running an errand much more space friendly.

Some of the Bugaboo Ant’s features are:

– Compact fold with airplane bin compatibility (yes you saw the word – BIN aka no more scratches and dings when you leave your stroller at the gate)
– Pull-along trolley mode which allows to pull the Ant (once folded) in the same way in which one would tote their luggage behind them
– Basket feature that is also easy to access even when the stroller is folded
– Direction child is facing, can be facing you or the world with different reclining positions
– Like other Bugaboo stroller options, the Ant comes in aluminum or black frame and a selection of different seat and canopy colour combinations

I absolutely love strolling through the city together and allowing Miles to see the world and what it has offer like the sounds of honking, or joggers passing by, and even other kids strolling with their own families. I’m a HUGE fan of the Ant and highly recommend it if you’re in the market for a stroller perfect for your growing toddler. You guys should see all the trunk space we have in the car now for all the million other things you may need for your little one.
