Spring Trend: How to Wear The Quintessential Bandana

[zephyr_dropcaps style=”withbg” firstcolor=”#333333″ bgcolor=””]Y[/zephyr_dropcaps]ou’ve all seen it trending through social and bloggers alike, and yes I’m rocking it too! It’s the quintessential bandana trend, hot for spring ’16. It’s the must-have accessory to your outfits this spring, and I’ve found the perfect one for every outfit. This takes me back to a few months ago when I met Tania Love at the One of A Kind Show in Toronto while working my way through the many, many booths. I instantly fell in love with her beautiful handprinted scarfs and bandanas or “le petit foulard”. So far, I’ve stocked up on two, and am obsessed with them more and more everyday. It’s not just a trend your mom used to rock, and yes like all fashion and style trends, they always make a comeback!

Tania had me over at her beautiful shared studio space where she starts with white silk that she then hand screen prints images of her drawings with plant based inks. Finally these pieces are individually dyed with foraged local leaves and flowers in beautiful shades of mauve, grey, blush, yellow! Creating unique and handmade pieces!

***P.s. As a Mother’s Day promotion, there is FREE shipping on her site for a limited time: here or visit her studio in person!***

Today, Tania will guide us through step-by-step on how to properly fold one – and yes there is a proper way to do this!
