// Saje is a Canadian-owned and operated line with several different natural wellness products and accessories. They maintain that all their products contain 100% natural ingredients both plant-derived essential oils and pure ingredients. While pure ingredients are environmentally friendly and healthy, essential oils have many therapeutic abilities. One of my favourite finds from Saje is their Rain Forest Cleansing (Purifying) Facial Toner which I use daily. After cleansing, I mist it all over my face and neck, and inhale. I don’t know if it’s the scent or the feeling, or a combination of both, but it’s extremely relaxing and therapeutic. Over the last few months, I’ve noticed my skin change with use, leaving it soft and brightened.

// Aesop is a brand based out of Australia that uses both plant-based and laboratory-made ingredients especially those with the anti-oxidant properties. Anti-oxidants used long term have proven to reduce spots and pigmentation of the skin. Aesop carries many different skin care, hair and body products, and their packaging is simplistic yet beautiful. The Parsley Seed range is said to contain potent doses of rich anti-oxidant elements. I use a thin layer of the Parsley Seed Cleansing Masque on my face after cleansing, leaving it on for 10-15 minutes then rinsing off with warm water. It’s a treatment regime that refreshes and unclogs my pores. Use up to twice weekly, use as directed.

// Leaves of Trees products are handmade using all-natural, ethically sourced ingredients and produced in small batches in downtown Toronto. The line is primarily based on unrefined argan oil sourced from a women’s cooperative in Morocco. It’s socially responsible, organic and fair trade goods are free from parabens, phthalates, sulfates, petrolatum, articificial musks, or any other harmful ingredients. I swear by their Eucalyptus Mint deodorant and it’s really like nothing I’ve ever used. Its argan lotion formula moisturizes skin while keeping you smelling fresh. Just apply a small amount as you would apply lotion to your skin and massage into your arm pits.

// Aesop’s Reverence Aromatique Hand Balm. I’ve seen this product all over the internet, on Instagram, blogs, and Tumblr, hence I had to try it. Last October, I picked one up in their New York City store and fell in love with it instantly. A little goes a long way with this bad boy, which is great because it’s not the cheapest hand cream out there. However, this hand balm is richly hydrating and moisturizing especially with dry winter hands.

// Honey Pie Hives and Herbals is a small, farm based business that makes all their products by hand. They combine beeswax taken from their very own bee farm in Prince Edward County, Ontario with organic herbs (also grown locally) to make all-natural products. You can catch me carrying their Rosemary Beeswax Kissy Lips Natural Lip Balm around town. As an added tip, I keep one on my nightstand and apply it right before bed and wake up with nourished lips!
Find it here in 8 different flavours.
